The crash is believed to have been between a tanker truck and a passenger vehicle, Schreffler explained. It happened between Schoolhouse and Cove roads at around 11:30 a.m. on July 10.

It is unclear "which vehicle had the fatality," Schreffler said.

The area affected by the closure was between Maryville and Duncannon. The roadway reopened around 2:30 p.m., according to PennDOT's 511PA and Schreffler.

Pennsylvania State Police are investigating this fatal crash.
